The CP Register is a confidential research database of information about people with cerebral palsy in Australia.
The main aims of the CP Register are to:
- monitor incidence and prevalence of cerebral palsy
- gain further understanding about the causes of cerebral palsy
- evaluate preventative strategies
- assist in planning services for children and adults who have cerebral palsy.

Other ways to register:
- Contact your state register and register directly by phone.
- Download and complete both the registration form (PDF) and consent form (PDF), and mail these to your state CP Register.
- Give permission for your health practitioner or education professional to:
a) submit your details on the CP Register website, or
b) send your name and contact details to your state CP Register. We will then contact you and obtain the required details.
